Project Sunrise participated in Cultural Diversity Week 2025 in collaboration with The Zone, CMY, and AVWA.
Cultural Diversity Week is an annual celebration that recognises and respects the diversity of cultures, languages, and backgrounds that make Victoria extraordinary. Project Sunrise collaborated with The Zone, the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY), and the African Volunteer Wellbeing Agency (AVWA) to deliver a rich and meaningful event celebrating community strength.
The event provided an opportunity to connect with young people from across Victoria's African communities, share information about AOD support services, and celebrate the cultural richness that defines our community.
Through partnerships like this, Project Sunrise demonstrates that community health is best delivered collaboratively — working alongside trusted organisations to reach young people where they already feel safe and connected.
